Software Development/Support Person

Working out of our busy Malvern office, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and development of the company website and for the ongoing development of the company’s internal operations management system. You will also be required to act as first-line telephone support for any customers requiring technical assistance. There will be a lot of interaction with our customers, both over the telephone and on the premises, and the great majority of them will be health practitioners who use our bio-resonance equipment, in additional to other complementary health disciplines. In order to be able to communicate on their level you must also have a strong interest in the general subject of "alternate" therapies (such as energy medicine, homoeopathy, reiki, etc).

You will be responsible for working through all phases of development on new and existing projects. Your primary work will involve programming, database design and development, and providing technical telephone support of our products. A proven ability to document your work will also be sought.

|
Technical Skills Required
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Visual Basic.net, ASP.NET, SQL Server, CSS/XHTML/XML/etc, good working knowledge of Windows XP -> 7, InstallShield/InstallAware/WiX. 3 years minimum experience required.
|

|
|
|
|
|
|
Personal Qualities
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
The successful applicant will be enthusiastic, energetic, innovative and ambitious. An ability to relate to customers whose first language is not English and who are not computer literate is essential. Your ability to speak any non-English languages (especially any of the Scandinavian countries) would be very useful, but are not essential for the job.
